Hello!
I've got a big problem with the Fullscreen mode of U7 BG !
It simply doesn't work on my system,every time i try it,the screen goes back to window mode !
I use the newest Version of the Nvidia Detonator Driver.
Whats the reason for that!?
Please help me,because in window mode,exult doesn't make so much fun with such a little monitor like mine!

PS:Sorry,if my english is more worse than good,iam a german Ultima Fan!

which detonator version do you *exactly* use?
mine is 30.82 and it works fine for me. you should
not use version numbers 40.xx and above as they
often seem to cause problems with exult (and some
other progs as well).

anyway, if nothing else helps, try using a 2x scaler
from the video options within exult to make the
window bigger...

Does that mean it goes into fullscreen for a while, but then switches back to windowed? Or does it simply stay in windowed mode? What exactly happens?

Also, which OS are you using, and which video card? Which resolution/colourdepth are you normally running in? What resolution/scaling did you select in exult?

The resolution you chose probably doesn't support your monitor on fullscreen. (at least not with exult or windows)

Try switching around resolutions and switching to full screen until you find one you like (and that works ).

Now it works!

The problem was the scaling thing,I simply select another scaling method and it works!

Darn, one point to wjp, none to me

I found that when I even when the exult.cfg file video option was set to yes it was still in window mode, but when I changed it in the game via ESCAPE -> video options it works. (I don't know wher it saves the video modes). In fact now it's by far the best looking Ultima I have ever seen! Thank dev. team!
