Something I have noticed with Exult since the original version in DOS, it doesn't have some things, that I truely love.

1) When you die, it goes back to your old saved file rather then in the bed in the fellowship shelter place.

2) Where are the plates?

3) When I walk, the people are spread out more when I walk.

4) Sometimes people sit on the floor, rather then their chair.

5) When I touch and move something, or eat some food. everyone doesn't go insane telling me to stop, rather they don't care, it isn't as touchy as it once was.

6) The guards don't ask to arrest me. I miss going to jail.

7) When you make somebody angry, like steal something, or guards chasing, in the original version, you couldn't talk to the person when you are angry, now you can.

I know some stuff isn't that important, but I want it like the old version.

This is supposed to happen (or maybe it should restart the game?) when you die when you haven't left Trinsic yet, I think.

I have left Trisnic, but maybe it is because I have 0.98 or it is because I used teleportation?

Oh, you're using 0.98? You might want to try a more recent version, then

(Generally, if you're reporting problems, always state which version of Exult you're using)

If you teleported out of Trinsic, you didn't really leave Trinsic as far as the game knows, btw. I'm not sure what the exact trigger is, but it's probably something like getting the password from the mayor or having one of the guards open the gate.

The bed Trigger is whether or not you joined the fellowship. I've gone as far as I could to avoid getting that medallion and when I died, poof, no saving from the Evil Fellowship Twins, E & A.

I don't think you have to join the fellowship to be picked up by the evil EA when you die, only be out of the first trinsic quest.

2. This has more to do with eating than with plates (I haven't missed the plates, they seem to be there), but it doesn't seem that the npc's eat when they are scheduled to 'eat', only when they are scheduled to 'eat at inn'.

On the same note, they don't do desk work when scheduled to do 'desk work'(moving around papers, quills and such things).

And please use a more recent version (if possible I mean (sorry OSX users) some of the 2-7 problems have improved

1. In the original, the game restarts if you haven't officially left Trinsic. Exult reloads the last savegame in this case (and I prefer it that way).
2. A feature we haven't implemented. It's already been reported.
3. Read Dominus' FAQ. Plus, they stay closer together in more recent versions.
4. I think this has been fixed.
5. This has been improved in recent versions. You'd have to start a new game, though.
6. I think this depends on where you are arrested, as in the original. But I'm not sure.
7. Can't say if this is fixed in more recent versions.

"7-" does not match any of SI's conversation lines.

Yeah, I got 1.00 now. People still eat off the table, and not off the plates. I left Trisnic the proper way and now when I die I get sent to the bed place in Paws. The people still are not fragile, eg when I move something that is theres they don't go insane. Also another thing, some people don't like eating at the inn, but rather at their house, in the original version they had food when eating, now they just eat plates.
