this is after the 3 banes are freed; if u talk to torrisso before using the wand he takes it. when u choose to speak to him about it he doesnt say anything, the text from the previous dialouge option just remains. also i could for a long time ask Mosh about slippers and get a similar response. and i never managed to solve the comb of beuty quest (i did get the item though, just not peoples reactions). but that might just be bad memory.

hey, just happened to be randomly reading through this forum, i don't check it regularly. but i happen to be able to answer this question.

this is a bug from the original game. yes, if you talk to torissio first, he takes his wand and keeps it, and you can't free fedibiblio, completely stopping the plot - almost. there is one way to get it back without cheating: use the vibrate spell on torissio to get the wand back out of him.
