To all exulters interested in Serpent Isle in French,

After over a year of hard work, sweat, swear, and all other feelings you can think of, we are happy to announce that:
[center]Serpent Isle is totally translated![/center]

The patches will be available shortly. I'll use this forum to inform you. The translation work involved:
* 8 translators from 4 different countries
* 1237 usecode functions, 734 of them holding relevant text to translate
* 2701 descriptions used in text.flx
* translating gumps like spellbook (and correcting its own mistakes)
* modifying fonts.vga to support more accents than french Black Gate did
* and countless hours of work

The work is not entirely done yet since we must revise our translation to correct mistakes and errors than would normally occur in such a work.

Again, the best way to show us support is by downloading the (soon available) patch and reporting errors.

Hey, I don't speak French, but I still think this project is pretty cool. Congrats on finishing such a monumental undertaking!

There something wrong in your patch, Sometime some option can be take i.e I found the cantra's father scroll and I can't return it to Harna, the option seem to be block. Scott have some option in english.

Better to recheck it

Please indicate what person who were talking with and what options you did select that didn't work.

This post is to inform you of the immediate release of si-patch-1.011. Here are the main point of this release:
* 732161: (Cantra) dixaine -> dizaine
* 732326: (Cellia) "Peau de Gwani" doesn't crash the game anymore
* 732328: (Olon) uince -> evince
* 732330: (Book) everything is translated
* 732333: (Trial) spelling corrected
* 732334: (Dupre) "please restrain thyself" -> translated
* 732336: (Ruggs) au-dele -> au-dela
* 732337: (Ruggs) "a se souvenir" -> "a me souvenir"
* 732890: (Misc) spelling corrected
* 740093: (Cellia) now possible to buy furs
* spelling mistakes corrected just about everywhere

As you can see, some users are starting to use bugtrack to report the errors and we'd like to thank them, since it is easier to locate mistakes, correct them and inform you about the changes.

If you are wondering why this release's version is 1.011 instead of 1.001, it is simply because 11 entries now figure in the newly added ChangeLog file.

Comme vous pouvez le constater, certains utilisateurs ne servent de bugtrack pour reporter les erreurs et nous les en remercions car c'est bien plus facile pour nous pour reperer les erreurs et les corriger et aussi de vous mettre a jour des changements.

Si vous vous demandez pourquoi cette release a pour version 1.011 au lieu de 1.001, c'est tout simplement parce que 11 entrees se trouvent dans le ChangeLog qui a ete ajoute au package.

Big Problem when I talk to gwenno I can't change subject and the game freeze.

please submit a bug report and indicate what option you have clicked that freezes the game or what word you cannot click.
