Is there any way to include the stats for weapons and armor? It would be nice to know if the viking helmet is better than the full helmet or if the Halberd is better than the two-handed sword. Right now I am just guessing one is better than the other.

It was in both BG and SI. It's titled "Vetron's Guide to Weapons and Armor", and it lists most all the weapons and armor in the game, with a few exceptions. I know in BG you can find a copy in Trinsic where you begin. I don't remember where there's a copy in SI.

I reckon it would still be nice though. Knowing the "complete" stats to your weapons and armour, as those books don't list every item in the game.
As far as I know, it's really only a matter of finding where the weapon statistics are and getting the displayed some manner that's practical and doesn't nag people.

For Serpent Isle, see Paulon's
list of stats. He probably has another for BG too.

you could always use Exult Studio, browse the weapons in the shapes view, and see their properties.

yes well we could always do that, but to have it handy and in-game would be nice.

I seem to recall that some numbers had been tweaked between BG and SI, at least in the book - was this true in the code as well?
(In particular, greatswords and halberds had switched their 10 and 11.)

Off-hands, I'd say it is not the case. I seem to recall the book is identical in both games.
