New announcement for Si-french
Posted: Fri May 23, 2003 8:18 am
To all people interested in the latest developments with SI-french, the patch to play Serpent Isle in French:
We are happy to announce a new system to keep you up to date in your patch. A patch is from now on created every day at 4:30 am pacific time, that is, 12:30 pm (noon) GMT or even, 8:30 am eastern time.
You can download this bleeding-edge patch at the following address:
http://si-french.sf.net/patch/
I do not intent to modify the names of the files found in this directory. Consequently, you can create a batch to automatically pull the patch files and automatically update your installation of si-french!
Those bleeding edge patches are updated everyday, based on what's in the CVS. There is a README available on the site mentioned earlier.
This way, you don't have to wait now for releases of official patches. Please note we will still continue doing official releases which will be posted on sourceforge.
Please note you need Exult (http://sf.net/projects/exult/), a valid copy of Ultima 7 part II, si-patcher (http://sf.net/projects/si-french/) to install the patches.
Let me know if you have more questions!
