Hi,

there's downloadable sourcecode and a windows binary on the Pentagram homepage. What does it do? Where do I find info on its progress?

Some minimal info on the homepage would be fine. I don't mean to be inpacient (even though I am) but if theres something to download, the people should know what it does.

The distribution itself has all the documentation. README has
what works and how to use it, ChangeLog shows progress, and
there's even a FAQ hiding in there too.

There's not much point updating the homepage at the moment,
since things are changing so rapidly there's really little to update it
with that won't almost be incorrect.

I'd prefer to wait to the thing is just a *little* playable (rather then
having you playing the part of a levitating, incorporal ghost-avatar
who can somehow still trigger things), to harp on about all the
Great & Wonderful(tm) features of pentagram (such that they...
err... are). *grin*

Wait, wait a minute there everybody! Am I hearing this well enough, are you guys talking about Pagan: Ultima VIII???
If so, can you please tell me how to play it in Windows XP?
I've tried Ron Windeyer's solution to play them in Windows 9x, it didn't work.

1. yes we are talking about Ultima VIII
2. Pentagram is not yet the engine to play U8 with.
3. http://members.iinet.net.au/~rsd/U8inWindows.html has some documentation on how to play U8 with the U8inWinodws patch on XP. It works (testeed this myself).
