I like the idea of exult and especially it's title melody. Is there a way to get a midi version of this great tune?

You could try downloading the Ogg encoded music files from the Download page. You'd just need an Ogg Vorbis-compatibile audio player to play 'em.

It's from a page listing a collection of songs created for another game, but the author also allowed it to be used in Exult.
I found the site through this forum post (thanks Nadir): http://exult.info/forum/viewtopic.php?p=21741#p21741
You can download other similar music from there.
It's also part of your Exult installation, file #4 in data/exult.flx if you know how to use expack.
