First Ultima X Screenshot

This is reportedly the first screenshot from Ultima X. Looks like a hack and slash game, since EA doesn't want it to compete with UO.
The shot was grabbed from the OU strat forums.

If it is a hack n slash/FPS-style game, I will literally throw up. Couldn't they come up with a different world for a game that has nothing to do with Ultima? *sighs*
If it does turn out to be otherwise, I'll be overjoyed.

What are the odds for the return of a party based system? I would love to hear Iolo sing in full 32 bit glory!
But on a more pesimistic/realistic view "hack slash = no party + multiplayer kill fest"

At last! A thinking man's Ultima... Man - that EA really knows how to treat a franchise - just ask Westwood, Bullfrog, or Origin!
BTW: I still have ads from EA from when M.U.L.E., Archon and the like were put out - about how they were a bunch of "Artists" searching to create - what a crock-o-crap that company has become. So damn pathetic...

I don't know but this pic sure looks ugly to me. I mean, for a game due out in a couple years or so, it should look way beyond what we are used to in today's games. If the original wasn't 1280x1024 as stated on Stratics, I would have bet this was a sub-par PS2 title...
So: this whole story still looks awfully fishy to me
