Bug with the Guards

I have installed the latest snapshot:
Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000 binary snapshot 2001-10-28 12:45 1772 KB
I am using Windows 98 SE
BAH. I do not like the fact that whenever you kill anyone two guards are automatically there. The original was not like this and when they did come is was between 1 and 3 guards. Also, if there is a group of people, like in a bar, and you kill them all there are two guards trying to kill you for each person you kill. None of them ask you if you'll go quietly either, they just start attack. This is outside of Trinsic after the copy-protection, so it shouldn't be like this.
Also, whenever someone attacks the avatar, your companions do not attack them. They just sit there.
When there are a few hostile guards around and you turn on combat mode, your friends will not attack them.
Also, sometimes I walk into Iolo or Spark, I believe it happens with any person, and they become stuck in you. This is a little irritating since your movements are then limited.
