It's okay to post this here, although you could have also posted to the Exult mailing-list.

I'd be interested in applying, but I don't know if our project is relevant. I can see how playing a game like Ultima 7 could benefit players emotionally, but we cannot claim credit for the game, which was created by Origin in the early 90's.

Working collaboratively on open-source must be good for us in some way, or why would we all do it?:-) However, this is true of all open-source projects.
