One glitch i'll never forget in the top 10 pack ultima 7 was when journeying onward you had to press it just right in sync of the music or it would freeze every time. I'm glad that's fixed :). I havent played the orriginal in a LONG time but didn't the charcters walk faster? And didn't the avatar Run faster?

Probably because you used a fast system without moslo.

No, I think it's just that his machine ran it a tad faster. Running U7 on a fast machine without moslo is insanely fast. I tried, couldn't play the game :P

I know what you mean. About 10 seconds after I started a new game, Iolo was starving. :P

Heh no I didn't have moslo. I still like it better running fast like that. It was ungodly annoying at times (trying to double click on Sherry was hell), but I had a fun time with it. I keep thinking that the slower ultimas are the deformed ones and mine is the norm :)

I played BG on a 486, so the speed was just about perfect. But my worst memory of it was that it crashed about 50% of the time I'd go to sleep, so I always had to remember to save before doing so.

Also, it was a major annoyance to have party members drop things when they fleed from battle.

Yes... I also had trouble with sleeping (game gets stuck). I still occasionally experience that with Exult.

One time I removed all Iolo's equipment for something, then put it back on, but failed to realize I put his backpack in his left hand. To my surprise, he threw his bag at a headless when I entered combat....

Luckily, my backpack was sitting on the other side of the screen, safe and sound.
