Easy problem but need help

Hey all,

I installed Exult and BG and everything was working fine, till I decided to fiddle and change the resolution to 640x480. Now I just get a black screen, though all the sound is fine and I can still push buttons to eventually start the game.

If someone could just give me step by step instructions as to what I need to push to get the resolution back to normal. Instructions without the mouse would be helpful cause I can't see what I'm pointing to.

Anybody out there should be able to help, just give me a list of commands like:

Press enter twice, enter character name, press enter 3 times, wait for game to start, press escape........

Any help would be appreciated. Thanx all...

edit your exult.cfg with notepad.
search for:

and change that. The problem is most likely that you have exceeded what your monitor is able to do. With Scale set to 2 you actually use a resolution of 1280x960 when you set this to 640x480. you can use that res by either setting SCale to 1 or setting fullscreen to no. or change to 400x300...
