SI: Luther and Caladin missing?

I seemed to have lost Luther and Caladin! I had trained with them in Monitor, then I left to complete the Fawn trial quest. I stopped in Sleeping Bull briefly, but before freeing Hawk I returned to Monitor to train. But Luther and Caladin are no longer there. I cannot find them anywhere!
At 9:00, at the list field only Templar is visible. If you ask the guard to train, we asks who wants to train. Then he says there is no one available.
At 12:00, in the town hall, only Brendann is there. Talking to himself, no less.
I backed up to my save just after training, and both are there (at the List Field, anyway). Go to the next save (I believe that I just cleaned up the backpacks in prep for the Fawn trip) and they are gone.
Are they supposed to be missing, or is there a problem? Or am I just crazy?
It would help to know their schedules so I know where to look for them.
Just in case, I will post a save game with both characters missing.
