I want to thank the development team for the tremendous efforts, this is a great game and I am very glad that I can play it on my Mac. I can even listen to the music in Roland's hardware MIDI format... that's just awesome.
Good luck with your future developments!

Ditto again and again. You guys have done an awesome job with this. I've fooled around with Exult some over the past couple of years, but had never really tried to play all the way through with it. I just started U7 again the other day and everything works GREAT! Thank you for all of your efforts!

Yeah, just wanted to say thank you too. ultima 7 was/is my favourite game (both parts) and i never thought to be able to play it again. you guys have done an awsome job, and the most important thing you share it with others whithout payment, which is today a rarity. because of guys like you, the internet is still interesting for people without a creditcard. Thank you !

Technically, it's just a enging that could run the Ultima games...
so you still need to buy a copy from EA.

I bought my copy at "Circuit City," three years ago, contained within the "Ultima Collection."
Does anyone know if the SERPENT7 directory -- in the Ultima Collection -- also contains the "Expansions?"
(Still waiting to buy OS X 10.3, then I can probably get Exile to work)

You can shoot me, now, for calling it "Exile" and not "Exult." :/ :\

The games in the Collection do contain the expansions, "Forge of Virtue" and "Silver Seed", installed as part of U7.

Hey guys..thanks for making Ultima7 working great on XP. There is a minor error every so often but its better than fiddling with the memory problem in dos.. You guys are the best.

I'm using the latest on a Zaurus c760 ... awesome.
I have corruption around the mouse pointer (background rolls left or right)
but otherwise, amazing!

Thanks to the exult team.
I really can't explain how overjoyed I was after doing some research on the web about ways people got U7 to work, even though I've tried it before. It's a bitch. I'd heard of Exult before in its very early stages, but when the project takes a few years to complete, you don't think too much of it. I'd almost forgotten all about it.
But when I installed and ran it, my eyes absolutely lit up. I told everyone on IRC that I wouldn't be available for the next three weeks. The bugs are there, but they're not exactly game-stopping bugs, and the game IS playable, even with (some) sound, which improves the atmosphere dramatically. I love the new menus too.
Thank you so, so much. The fact that I can use Exult in future without worrying about the DOS problems ever again is really great. I'm a longterm Ultima fan. A thousand times, thank you.

Thanks! I'm sometimes surprised at how popular U7 still is. But then, why else would we be crazy enough to create a whole new engine for it?

Yes, you guys did a GREAT job!
Not only the ability to play the games, but also the toolkit to create games/expansions.
If it would only have a 3D engine, people could do really modern games with the toolkit
