Is there a collection of WAVs of sound effects ripped from Ultima games? (most wanted: 5 for the PC, and 7/7.5) Been meaning to redo my windows sounds and couldn't find any of these out there.

Ultima 5 had no sounds only music. If you are looking for Ultima 7/7.5 sounds and you didn't find them and you post this here you must have not been searching good enough...

Ultima V did have sound effects. Attack sounds, waterfall/fountain sounds, spellcasting sounds... a few others, too. Check out the C128 version.

ok, badly worded from me. I meant Ultima 5 for the PC did not have sfx. I know the C128 version did.

oh, I think you are actually right. It didn't have music? and the sfx were horrible pc-speaker sounds not worth listening too?

If you go to Micro Dragon's Home Page and download the Ultima Theme, there are quite a few BG and SI sounds in there, particularly of the Guardian's voice.

Yes, Ultima 5 PC did have noises. Lots of them. And all I found for 7/7.5 were music or the guardian's voice. No sound effects. Though I didn't look to see if the sfx packs here could be extracted or something - can they?

Dino: Thanks! I think that I've actually used this theme before, I recognize a lot of the guardian speech as old error messages. Has a couple good sound effects in there too, though not many.
