Pixel artist needed for iOS port!

Heya, anyone who did the great pixel art (Crowley, Calista...) still reading here?

For the iOS port of Exult we could use some help for designing buttons for the tool/shortcut bar that recently got implemented:
Image
The topic related to it is at https://github.com/litchie/exult-ios/issues/3

The size of the disk/combat/peace icons are roughly a good size - the other ones are too small.
The orange pointer was supposed to be the green crosshair you get when pressing 't' (didn't have time to correct this yet) and for SI there is supposed to be the keyring and jawbone available (if in inventory).

The toolbar should have:
- disk (icon is ok, needs transparency)
- combat/peace (icon is ok, needs transparency)
- map (BG/SI)
- spellbook (probably rather the red one from SI from the paperdoll)
- backpack
- key (perhaps rather vertically than horizontally) and keyring
- notebook
- target (should be the green crosshair, could be something better)
- jawbone

Anyone feeling up to that task? I'm about to try my hands as well, but I wanted to ask the more experienced users first :)

Changed the target icon (used a frame from sprites.vga) and used the verticsl key. As this is SI the spellbook is red and the combat icon has transparency.

And now, the buttons work, sometimes a bit wonky due to doubleclick always being a single click first. Loading a savegame crashes Exult ;)

How will an iOS port work, copyrightwise?

No different than Exult itself.
You will need to own the games to be able to play Exult on an iOS device. The game files are manually copied over via iTunes file sharing. http://exult.info/docs.php#iOS%20Guide

If you still need a pixel artist, drop me an email :) Email is on the portfolio page.

http://www.detocroix.com/Artist/ I don't have too many pixel art examples in my portfolio, but there are some on the bottom.

Ooh, great looking stuff. I'm in the middle of meddling with the shortcut bar and will definitely write you, probably after the weekend. Again great art there.
