Direction of Exult?

I'm curious to know what sort of direction the Exult team is heading in terms od developing Ultima 7 further. I've really enjoyed it so far (played around 8 hours straight) and then began craving more.
More challenge.
More adventure.
More story.
More features.
And not realising that in my hunt for treasure, the greatest treasures I made were the friendships I made along the way.
More homelife (owning a plot of land, tending to meadows, raising sheep, working as a black smith/tailor etc).
Some of this is already doable, but it's still kind of limited.
But the one the thing that really REALLY sparked my interest was the "Rotate Camera 45%" by Colourless Dragon, giving it it a an isometric view. So I've recently spent the the last 4+ hours pulling my hair out trying to get it to work, and in the process somehow corrupted my Shivering Isles, corrupted my black gate, stuffed up all my mods, and corrupted all my save games.
I'm not new to modding (30 years old and been modding since I was 14) but this has absolutely done my head in, to the point I no longer have the desire to play.
So I'm curious what the future has in store for Exult and whether hopefully the 45% isometric view option will be continued.
