well, i remember in the original that when you lit a candle it would burna a small circle around you of light, but in my exult it makes the whole screen look like its dusk(or is it dawn?)
is this just me?

I'm pretty sure every light source changed the whole screen.

You're thinking of streetlamps.

Ive noticed some problems with lighting in exult.
IE, sometimes if I use a torch in a dungeon, then walk outside, the light level will still be that dim redish glow, even though its daytime.
Stuff like that, not changeing, etc.

I noticed the light didn't change right away after I left a dungeon. It changed a couple seconds afterward though.
