We have just released Exult 1.1beta3. This release should fix all reported item duplication/disappearance bugs, as well as several other issues. You can download it from our download page. Currently, sources and Redhat 9 and Windows binary packages are available. Other platforms should arrive within a few days. Please report any bugs you find in our bug tracker.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading the Windows binary? I'm getting a 404 File not found error on all the Sourceforge mirrors I try to select.

hmm, there seems to be sth not working atm. It worked before, at least our stats show around 500 downloads of the windows binary. But maybe that were just attempts...

I've noticed with download from other projects, not all of the mirrors always have the files for some reason. I got a 404 for a file on the .au mirror for some file, but it worked fine on one of the others.

.AU mirror just worked fine for me.

It works fine for me too.

it was probably a temporary problem as none of the mirrors worked when I tested it.

oh, and the new official zaurus package is now released.

If I install Exult 1.1beta3 over my older version of Exult, will it mess with my save games? i.e. will I be able to continue playing in the old games or will I have to start all over? I've spent a lot of time using the cheat to build and decorate new homes and castles. I'd be very unhappy if I couldn't revisit my mansions and sit down to a nice table loaded with food...y'know?
