According to one online list, the Vibrate spell comes from Ensorcio at The Sleeping Bull. Interestingly another page suggests trying the spell on chickens or cows for a laugh.

It is a dark walkthrough where you pretty much break every rule and end up slaughtering a lot of innocent people to finish the game. I really have to wonder how someone figured it out...

Oh yes, the Ultima 7 anti-walkthroughs are simply brilliant - though I've certainly exercised the lessons from the System Shock and Deus Ex anti-walkthroughs as well. ;|
If I recall correctly using vibrate on chicken/cows makes them 'drop' their meat, similar to the way you can Pickpocket animals for their meat in Ultima 6.
