Mage Mage Isle

Ok, I am not sure what is happening but I got the pheonix egg, talked to Erstam about it and then put each of the limbs in the machine followed by the egg... Nothing seems to happen.
First for some reason about 50% or more of the objects in the game have the wrong name associated with them. For example one of the limbs I believe was called a glass jar. Is this just a simple mix up of text to object comparison or is it actually having a serious affect on the game where it is impossible to complete it now?
If the first thing is not a serious problem than the invisible person near the reconstruction machine who says "Thou stop, talk to me, please." is the reconstructed assistant but since he is invisible (hidden somewhere under the machine maybe??) I can not talk to him and so I can not continue with the game past this point. I read somewhere that there is a cheat to move objects around? How do I move the machine so that I can see if someone is stuck under it??

Nevermind this. I found the cheat to move objects and for some reason the head and body fell behind the machine, which is strange since something was talking from inside the machine.
However the object names being incorrect seems like a bug to me. One is Iolo's Lute, it appears as a necklace.

I had trouble geting the body parts to go in the machine properly as well, and had to use hackmover to move the machine to get at the hidden parts.

When you do it right, you should see a 'spark' effect after the piece goes in.

I found that if you don't talk to the head before adding it, you never get Boydon out of the machine. I think this is a bug in the script that runs the game (or if it is Exult's, I'll never figure it out:-).

Anyway, I find that in SI, it's really important to save a lot, and especially to have a savegame at the start of each subplot. I had a similar problem getting into the Temple of Order, because I used the wrong scroll on the altar. It accepted it, but then wouldn't accept the next item, and I had to go back to an earlier savegame.
