it's doable via editing defaultkeys.txt and assigning this txt file in the exult.cfg. It's shape #650.

another very useful shortcut is the "O" key for Orb of the Moons, at least for the first half of Black Gate
O useitem 785 # Use Orb of the Moons
Too bad you can't assign two different useitems to one key, would be nice to have the "M" key open the map *and* tell the coordinates...
