Exult on Linux again (objects disappearing)

Hi all,
Been playing through BG quite happily for the last couple of nights (picked it back up again after 5 years).
I'm in Britain and all of a sudden every object in most houses and shops has disappeared.
I've noticed that this has been an issue in the past.
I compiled everything from "Exult GIT source code snapshot".
I'm on Linux on Fedora 23, but I could be using the wrong code. Which should I download and compile?

oh no
Did you do a savegame? Do you have one before? What time of day was it and can you tell us your route (when you loaded Exult what did you do approximately - walked, driven coach, flew by carpet, teleported to where and walked to ...).
We were hoping we were done with this bug but apparently under some conditions it still rears its ugly head

Thanks for the replies.
Yeah I had save-games from before, but it looks like there's the same problems in them?! Though I'm wondering if it had happened already but I just hadn't noticed it.
It's quite early on in the game, I'd done Trinsic, and then went directly to Britain, picked up Sentri and Shamino, spoke to Lord British, then popped back down to speak to the general folk. Just walking involved so far.
It was daylight when I first noticed as I am actually still in the first day. It's about 14:00.
It's not going to be great for Britain's busy economy! I blame brexit.

So if tomorrow is still not too hot, I‘ll see if I can reproduce it somehow.
Did you cheat or get some stuff off the Trinsic cheat room somehow? Did you walk? Just trying to establish a path

In addition to Dominus' questions, might you be able to start the game via terminal and recreate the problem?

Thanks everyone.
No, no cheating and a direct walk path from Trinsic to Britain. I'd recently got everything from the storeroom in the castle.
One thing that I did do, was test out the Lord British Throne Room Sign easter egg as I arrived there at about 11:30. I obviously reloaded a save game afterwards, but I wonder if that caused the issues. Karma I guess.
I'll try and recreate the problem sometime this week as well.
