I have got exult to run, which is great in itself, but can't seem to get full screen mode to work. I am running under Windows XP, and currently have Exult coming up in a window that I can't enlarge no matter what I do. When I lower the computer's resolution in control panel I get the window slightly bigger, but no full screen. I have tried switching on the full screen option in setup but every time I click okay, nothing happens and when I go back to setup this option has reset itself to "off". Please help me run Exult in full screen as I have just discovered it and have been trying to get Ultima 7 to work for years...

What is your resolution in Windows, the resolution set in Exult and what scaler? Which version of Exult are you using?

My resoulution in Windows is 1024x768 pixels - colour quality 32 bit
Exult version v1.1Beta3 which I have literally just downloaded from the site.
How do you set resolution in Exult?
I have tried all the different scalers but have it on 2xSaI
Thanks for your help, please keep trying to help me..

Did you press F4 in-game or only in the startup menu? (It only works in-game)
You can set Exult's resolution from the in-game video options menu.

I was just doing it in the start up menu and at the beginning of the game when you have no control over the Avatar as you talk to Iolo. I now have got to the stage where I am searching the stables and can control him...I have double clicked on the Avatar and brought up the menu....I see game options...F4 isn't doing anything at the moment?

I have fiddled with the in game video options and managed to get the window to fit the screen, although full screen mode only works when I change the scaling down to x1, otherwise it is disabled...but I think I can sort it out now...thank you all so much for your help....I am so impressed with how quickly you helped me....and thanks for giving me back the best game I ever played..!!

If you set the resolution and the scaling too high, the fullscreen resolution needed may be too high.
Try setting resolution to 320x200, scaling to 2x, and then enable fullscreen.
