Had to reinstall on a new comp, and for some reason the Control SHift M to open up Exult Studio in the game isn't working? I installed it to the standard directories and my mod is working fine and all, it just isnt' registering the hot key.. am I doing something wrong or did it break?

It's ctrl-alt-m by default. If that doesn't work, make sure you are not overriding the defaultkeys (by pointing at a keys file in the cfg).

for some reason the hotkey works on the right side of the keyboard, but on the left side cntrl alt m doesn't work... not sure what thats about haha.

Hmm, it may be that our SDL2 adaption didn't catch that.

I have the exact same problem, but neither of the sides work :/

So you enabled cheating AND you are using a snapshot?

@Agent: which Windows is that on? (trying to reproduce and maybe fix)
(because I couldn't reproduce it in VMs and will need to boot up Windows)

And do the other ctrl-alt-keys work, or any other alt-keys? (ctrl-alt-h, ctrl-alt-p. alt-q, alt-i)

If you're using Ubuntu, I seem to remember a problem with the 'alt' key working with Exult.

ctr+alt+h works, as do p,q and i

Itta, that is really odd. Which version are you using? It says so in the start screen of Exult where you choose the game you want to start.

Does anything happen? Does Exult go into map edit mode? Is Exult Studio installed in the same folder as Exult?

Sorry for the late response, but yeah using the ES hotkey from the left side of the keyboard doesn't work. I'm running Win 7
