Best IDE for usecode?

Which IDE is currently best to edit Exult usecode?

What I tried so far:
ConTEXT with the plugin on Seven Towers. It has a weird backspace behavior. I also tried using notepad++ with C highlighting and IndentByFold plugin for indentation. Unfortunately I couldn't get features such as autocomplete (using info from headers like enums or function names) to work on neither. Maybe I expect too much?

I found a few rusty old threads discussing IDE's but they're so old such as: viewtopic.php?p=13347#p13347

There's also something about a blog setting up Eclipse for Exult? viewtopic.php?p=541863#p541863

I searched google but couldn't find the blog. There's generally too much information on the internet which makes this topic seem quite overwhelming.

My coding level is beginner-intermediate in java and C so any help is definitely appreciated! Oh I'm on Windows but if the features are worth it I could do Linux. I'm very curious to learn about your setups!

And finally, Exult and ES are awesome! THANK YOU!

A poll suddenly appears! You say:

Code: Select all

0x0a) simple text editor
0x0b) editor with plugins or resources (which?)
0x0c) specific software
0x0d) what is usecode?
0x0e) name
0x0f) job
0x10) bye
0x11) other: please post!

I think you best stay on Notepad++ for the highlighting and indentation. That's kind of what I use for usecode but then I rarely touch it these days.
