I was playing around with a fresh map and trying to clone chunks to edit them, but cloning, adding, or deleting chunks doesn't seem to work anymore. Was this disabled? It would be really helpful if it were re-implemented

I think KC mentioned it before, that maybe the best solution for the map garbling would be to have any cloned or added chunks appear at the very bottom of the list, so in theory it shouldn't reshuffle the chunk numbers individually. This would be very helpful for me to finish the gargoyle side of the U6 map, I want it to look and feel different from regular Britannia.

We did not disable anything. Is this with the normal Exult snapshot or the one I posted to circumvent Windows 10 problems?

And yes that chunks reshuffling is insane...

Hmm mine is 1.5.0git is what it says at the bottom right? I can't remember the last time I updated it

I have both the latest versions of ES and Exult, still not working... it's broken somehow.

Adding a shape or frame always puts it at the end, unless Origin skipped a number. So this is inconsistent behavior and thus a bug.

I'd love the ability to group chunks by logical areas. "Coastline" or "Castle" or "Dungeon" or "Cave" etc. I could do the manual metadata part, but I don't believe we support this currently.

is Exult Studio the last version from our download page or the one from me I uploaded in another thread (you can tell by the file date).

Yeah this is definitely a bug, I opened an older version on my older comp and it worked just fine, i was able to add, delete, clone chunks. Something got broken in ES along the way :/

What operating system? I just tried it on my Windows 7 VM and there it works correctly.

I can only reproduce this if I use Exult Studio without running a game in Exult.

I tried another blank mod, and it worked. I guess there was some disconnect between the open mod and ES, but it seems to be working okay for a new mod.
