Putting U7 on an iOS device

I managed to get Exult/U7 working on windows and it’s awesome. Now I would like to put it on my iPad for portability, but....I have no idea what I’m doing. I put XCode on a Mac and went to GitHub but realized I have no earthly idea what to do next. I don’t even know what files to download to the Mac or how to even open them (or even which files to download) in Xcode. Even if I did open them, what would I do next? Would someone mind explaining how to do this in layman’s terms? If it’s too hopeless for a non-programmer I’d love to know that before I completely trash my iPad

You need to download the source from
https://github.com/litchie/exult-ios and then open the project file in the iOS subfolder with Xcode. Select your ipad in the upper left and hit the play button.
Or wait a moment for me to send you a testflight invite to the email address you used here in the forum (if that is correct)

no, it doesn't. The patch is ages old, from before we switched to SDL2 and no one bothered to work on it

For Android, I have had success with Dosbox. You copy your install files from your U7 CDROM or original diskettes to a USB flashdrive and then install it on your Android with Dosbox.
As far as controls go, I would recommend getting a usb keyboard/trackpad combo or a usb hub for a full size keyboard and mouse.

Yes, but that's not Exult and so no mods work
