Exult can't find my config file!

I can't seem to launch the newest exult on OS X! I had no problems with the .99 RC, and played and played, but when I upgraded, I thought I'd just drop the new binary and data directories in and play away. Exult now complains that it can't find my gamedat directories, even though they're in the same place! NO SPACES IN THE PATH!
GAHHHHHHHH! I know they're there, the older Exult works just fine. Any tips?

1. the 0.99 RC2 is really ancient
2. where do you have your exult.cfg? On Mac OSX it should be at
~/Library/Preferences/exult.cfg
3. Unless you are running the newest OS X you won't be able to run the very latest version of Exult. The version listed here
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=191840 should be okay though.

To quote the Readme file in the newest Mac OS X distribution of Exult:
On UNIX systems you can expect to find it in $HOME/.exult.cfg while other operating systems will probably locate it as 'exult.cfg' in the same directory as the Exult binary.
I also read the Readme.OSX file, which told me nothing about where the exult.cfg file was located.
Maybe the docs should be updated to reflect the actual location of the exult.cfg file (preferably readme.OSX, as that's where one would think to look for such data).
Anyway, it works great now. Thanks!

We already added the Mac OS X config file location to README a while ago, but unfortunately that was already after the rc1 release.
