Bug thingy

This is a bug... or rather, a lack of a bug...
In U7, it was possible to carry infinite items, and move objects wherever you chose...
This was due to a flaw in the way placements were made...
If you clicked on an itme, and dragged it to an invalid location, the item would be returned to it's original location, right?
Wrong.
It got returned to where the mouse cursor was when it picked it up.
Normally this worked fine...
Say you have two planks. Stick one on top of the other, by a swamp. Head to the swamp east of britian, for example, there are some planks there.
Stack one plank on top of the other. Then, click on the upper plank, making sure that the cursor point IS NOT OVER THE LOWER PLANK, but rather, above it.
Drag the plank somewhere illegal, and let go. If done correctly, the plank will not go back on top of the first plank, but rather will be placed NEXT to it, directly above it.
You can use this to build bridges.
Now for the carrying stuff glitch.
Say a party member bites it and you're out of inventory room/weight. Stick the stiff on top of something (say, a table), making sure a bit hangs over the edge. Stand under this over hang, then, click a section of the body that is above you and drag it somewhere illegal. The body goes back to where the mouse started, which was over you, meaning it ends up in your inventory - regardless of what you are already carrying.
All this is only possible in the original, of course... Would there be any interest in adding this 'undocumented feature' to the new release?
Already in Exult you may carry more then you have ROOM for, by use of weapons. Take a double handed weapon (such as the BR sword) and stick it in your backpack (or use a hip-pack if that's full). Then stick a large object (such as a cannon or corpse) in your hands, and enter combat mode. Whatever you're carrying, goes into your pack, regardless of whatever is already there, and the sword goes back to your hands.
Lastly, the cystal ball in the fellowship branch in minoc... you can't pick it up in exult... why not?
