the rest of the world seems to run correctly,

when i try running exult with turbo something similar as mo'slo my mouse get choppy...

I've got a PIII 450 Mhz with 256 MBRam and 64 Meg videocart.

*sigh*... when the rest of the world is running correctly, this means that the frame limiting is working properly. This is just an issue with walking speed. This has been adjusted quite a lot, in fact. Some people say it's too fast, while others say it's too slow. One of the problems is that it's kind of hard to tell what speed you should walk at, because the original's speed isn't fixed.

Using a moslo-like tool won't do anything useful for exult, obviously, since the framerate is limited. The only effect it has, is that everything slows down to the point where frames are skipped.

lol, maybe there should be a slider in the gameplay options that lets you set how fast you want your Avatar to run.

I have no problem with the walking speed however, so I am not suggesting-volunteering for the project ;)

There is a setting in exult.cfg for frame rate; I just can't recall at the moment. My plan is to add it to the 'gameplay' menu sometime this week.

Currently, the default is 5 frames/second, which feels a bit slow to me.

Well, one of the problems that I also experienced myself, was that after
having not played u7 in a long time, and then playing it in a much larger
resolution, and also after having played other games in the interim, I kept
forgetting to move the cursor all the way to the edge of the screen to make
him run, instead of walk.

Maybe an option can be added to have a key to make the Avatar run/walk
regardless of where on the screen the cursor is?
