Hi

I copied the ULTIMA7 directory straight off of the "Ultima Collection" CD and downloaded the latest version [1.1.10rc2] of Exult which was ported to OS X.

.....

It just doesn't work. I double-click the "Exult Ankh" and it begins to open and then closes again.


Can someone please help me here? It would be great to just be able to hear the Ultima 7 music again...

I don't know which version of OS X is named 'Jaguar', but as our download link for the Mac OS X binary states, it works on OS X 10.3 only.

Exult will run on OS X < 10.3 if you compile it yourself, though. (...or get someone with the same version of OS X to compile it for you )

And we do have a "walkthrough" in the file readme.macosx on how to compile exult yourself on OSX
