Please please make an exult for ultima 8!!! also do you know how to change the french version into english...because somehow i ended up with a french version...eh

Pick up Dosbox 0.61. Check the thread Shot in the Dark. That was mine refering to how to get U8 to run.

Kestral, the best way for you to get U8 to run in english is to buy it (check ebay) and not use the "abandonware" version you downloaded.
