To everyone wanting to play Serpent Isle in French:

Here is a new version of our patch to convert Serpent Isle into l'Ile du Serpent!
This release is quite special since we now have a full-fledged (albeit experimental) Windows Installer to ease the installation of the patch. A simple double-click, some answers and hop! you are now playing in French. It is recommended to start a new game once the patch is installed.

Also, starting with this release, the .tar.gz does not contain the Windows part anymore (see above to understand why).

I know a passable amount of French, I'll take a look at it. (But not nearly enough to actually make a useful comment)

Hey Artaxerxes, the SI-French website says v. 1.000, but your newest version is 1.031 (or something) What's the dilly-o with that?

if you are refering to www.serpentisle.fr.st, the site seems down for now. If that's the one that says 1.000, then I'll contact our webmaster to update it.
