Imagine a Ultima movie.... oh my god that would be heaven. In fact the ultima's after exodus would make incredible movie scripts (if they were altered a bit of course)

Of course if they did become a movie then the fact they are based off games would have to be denied otherwise people would dismiss it as another crap game->movie, oblivious to the incredible storytelling and concepts of the ultima games that is nothing short of genious.

On that note, if there was to be a U7 film, who should be in it?

The Avatar- Brad Pitt
Iolo- Morgan Freeman
Lord British- Mel Gibson!! lol
The Guardian- Christopher Walken(SP?)

Don't know. I used to think a Wing Commander movie would be great:-) Funny how the games had better actors than the movie.

OT: Has anyone read the Lynn Abbey "Ultima" books? I read the first two, but it looks like there's supposed to be a third book in the series which was never written.

..and the movie would be located in Jhelom and contain a lot of fighting and drinking and betting.

if you search in google groups under rec.games.computer.ultima.* you will find another couple of threads dedicated to this.

mckauly culkin(however he's spelled) as Garret!!!! and hmm not sure who Tobias could be, but if i had my way garret would be killed off somewhere in the movie

only if we could have him back as a kid. Nowadays he is just too old for that role

the "i see dead people" kid could be spark... but then he would have to be killed off too...
