This is probably a very bad idea for a feature, but are you planning on:
- Making no limit for number of people in party
- Making those gold/copper automatons spellable
I want an army of automatons in my party!!!!

Er, no... unless we write our own game. Lots of Usecode functions limit the # of party members.

Yes, there's nothing like having an entire army of companions...

I think you could manage to get 6 characters in the party without problems in SI if you used the cheats to add extra people; I could be misremembering though.

Join Sethys or Mortegro and cast Serpent Bond while going to the gate.
They will re-join when the speall wears off and thus bypass the egg near the gate which kills them.
Mortegro is especially good since he has a Corp Por spell weapon.

The original cheat to get extra party members that I saw on Ganesh's website works (kill Iolo, Dupre, & Shamino, max out on automations/NPCs, then use the hourglass to resurrect them, and they will join). Note that if you click the double-sword icon the game crashes because the combat/stat gump can't handle more than 6 party members (it also crashed the original).

I think I managed to get 9 in the party in BG
Avatar
Iolo
Spark
Shamino
Dupre
Julia
Jaana
Katrina
Tseramed
Never caused a crash, but unfortunately you could no longer use boats or the magic carpet etc. as not everybody could sit down. The trick was that Spark would always join the party regardless, so fire him and get all the others then rehire him. With the entire party equipped with triple crossbows, we were a bit invincible

Just imagine the gold you'd save on food alone with a party of 900
automatons.
And... am I the only one that likes to put the living toupee on an
automaton?

So, some use of the living scalp at Vasculio lab?
And what does it do?

Um.... more than likely nobody would be left alive (HA!). (i.e. they'd shoot each other.)
Magic toupe... is William Shatner somewhere in the game? :0)

You'd be suprised, it was only usually Julia, Katrina and Jaana that ever got killed, because they suck. It's almost like Spark had a magical shiny ass which meant he couldnt be hit by a tripe crossbow.

Nope, it would be the one where Homer buys Snakes hair after he is executed.
