Can I make a whole new game using Ultima VII's graphics in ultima studio? What are the limits of freedom of expression? Assuming that the graphics get recycled, can you just start drawing out a whole new world?

I wish I could be more specific, but, I don't really know much about exult studio. I just thought it would be fun to play with it a while or something. Who knows, maybe make a proper sequel to Ultima VII?

How many Ultima dragons read this forum?

From looking at the docs it only looks like I can edit eggs and not create them? I assume that the egg limit is fixed or something, much like the limit of 1024 shapes. How hard would it be to create a blank world and start working from there?

You can create and edit eggs.
Creating a new world is still a bit rough but work is being done on it.
