exult not working

When I try and load up exult, I get the message 'out of range'. How do I fix this? Please help, this is a game from my childhood that I've rediscovered. It's awesome. Thanks, Em.

Could you post the 'stdout.txt' and 'stderr.txt' files that Exult was supposed to output? It may help us figure out what's wrong.
