Can someone walk me through configuring DosBox so UU1 will work thanks.

first thing first. DosBox says it can't run UU because its out of ems memory. also i used the install it said it can't find "Library Install.olb not found" is that a file i need?

we are not the Dosbox support forum (or nuvie or whatever), at the most we might help you set up U7 on Dosbox...

If it can't find install.olb, that means the zip file you downloaded does not have all the game files. Get the game in CD or floppies instead. Also, this is not a DosBox forum. You should seek support in their forum instead.

and please don't ask for help getting pirated games to work.

I didn't know DosBox had a forum, whats the web adress?

hey UU1 has something to do with exult it is connected with the same time frame. as when the black gate was made, and destroyed. The same with UU2.

Also, DosBox is connected to Exult because they are both COMPUTER PROGRAMS.

(for those who never played it, UU takes place about 100 years before U7)

You don't need DosBox to run it. You can run it natively on NT based systems using this patch:

Skutarth: Yes that mostly works (and can be found from the Ultima - The Reconstruction link in our links section). Unfortunately newer computers, especially laptops have devices blocking the memory location (badly worded, sorry) that ntvdm's EMS needs and therefore all programs requiring EMS don't work
