Why BG and Si are so ugly without filter? I try SI in DosBox. Yuck, it was ugly to much square. I good old time it was beautiful. I can't understand.


I remark two thing

1)The intro was a little faster. The conversation is sync with the boat when Richard Gariott says as LB says "This is my worst fear, etc."

2)The guard at monitor suppose to follow you to the crypt. In Exult they don't follow properly.

Well it's low-resolution, but I don't think it's ugly. Maybe you had incorrect video settings? Or you are remembering it incorrect.

Maybe it's becasue when you first played it it was on an old dinky 15" screen (like me) that didnt exactly produce the crispest picture.

But now your using a nice 17"-19" monitor, and the pixes are "bigger" and more noticible because the screen is bigger?

15" screen? Normal people didn't have screens that size. You would rarely find anyone with a screen larger than 14"

Hah. I had a 17" monitor on my 486. It was awesome. 800x600x16bit never looked better than it did back then. Sadly, now all I have is a cheap dell 15" that is slowly dying on me.
