Okay, I'm just going to start posting all the bugs i find here.

[all of these are with the new snapshots]

Moongates: i got knocked out by one. i had -3 hits but the avatar got up and started walking around. I have a savegame with it if you'd like to have a look.

I continued to explore this bug. I've found that this will continue to happen until to get around -10. then you'll be killed. I went from -3 to -6 then woke up in the healers place in Paws. It happens everytime...

New Bug:

Equip the avatar with the boomerang. He will continue to throw it over and over again and not wait for it to come back. [also the boomerang doesn't return.] soon you'll have about three boomerangs on the screen even though it's only one boomerang. =P

I remember getting hit by the moongates in the original. It's supposed to happen due to the generators. If you talk to someone, LB I think, he tells you that the moongates are dangerous. Thats why.

Aren't you supposed to stay alive and walking even at -3, then get unconscious at -15 or so and then dead at -XX ??

no no... at 0 you're unconscience. at -3 you should be laying on the ground waiting for your hitpoints to recover. at -15 you die.

Toad's right, 0 is unconsciousness, like I think standard AD&D was.
There's also a point slightly lower where instead of slowly regaining health,
you slowly bleed to death.

I never slowly bled to death in the original....

toad`sMoke:
we have a bug tracker at sourcefirge.net which is our favourite place for all bugs. Please submit your bugs to it. Also make it one bug per subject in the tracker. Please see the FAQ on how to properly submit a bug (http://exult.info/faq.php#N281).

Hm, okay, I just noticed that you found the tracker on your own. but still please read the FAQ on it. You need to zip the savegames as the file uncompressed is too big. And also please zip and donĀ“t use any other compression method (like rar, ace, or cab) as it is much easier to unzip than any other method.

I think suraimu was speaking of AD&D when he mentioned the bleeding to death. I remember that from some of the games I played on my computer.

Actually, I thought I remembered that from Ultima 7, but with my quality
of recall it wouldn't be surprising if I was remembering some other game.

In Ultima7, you always get better with time, although you could still be getting attacked after you're unconscious. In Exult, you'll regain consciousness after a little while even if your HP's are still less than 0.

i mean, what is the logic behind it?

In other words, there is no logic behind it. :)

Well, there is a little: I don't like being stuck for more than a few seconds waiting for the Avatar to wake up. And even though you regain consiousness, your HP's are still low, so that getting hit again is still likely to kill you.
