Anyone else get this in SI?

Right in the begining of the game I tried something for the heck of it. I wanted to see how far I could run before all my friends disapeared and the monk showed up. Well I made it past where the trigger point for her is and found a weird bug. Right on the ground in the begining of the game is an Infinity bow, and a set of stairs. I tried goin up the stairs and just led me ontop of the mountains, after the last of my friends disapeared it took about 5-10 secons before the rest got back to normal and I still had the bow. As proof of it I put a link to the screenshot I took while playing. So I just gotta ask did anyone else run into this bug?

Yes. You're not supposed to be able to run past the monk.

There are three different beaches. One has no ship, and is shown when you start a new game. When the ship "appears", what really happened is the camera moved to the second beach. This second beach has the storm egg. Once the storm is over, you are teleported to the third beach. That is done so you can't prevent your items from disappearing by dropping them to the ground.

BUT...you *can* run fast enough to get that Infinity Bow. I had to get past the monk, since I don't have my documentation handy.

You should better find your documentation then. SI depends alot on specific flags being set, and if you do weird stuff like that, you may get stuck somewhere in the future.

You can only run fast enough in Exult. Last thing I knew, changing the 'FPS' setting in the options is what allows you to either reach it or not reach it.
