Did it!

Just to let you all know, I played Serpent Isle from beginning to end without encounting any show stopping bugs. This is with the snapshot from the 7th of January.
The only real bugs were the missing automaton, who was just stuck. The hound, who's fixed, and dupre, who was restored by the monk, at the wall of lights. Everything, including the end sequence worked!
One thing I noted was that when I was encountering the banes, the carefully prepared traps they had laid failed to work 100%. Sometimes he'd make a suggestion like he going to attack me, then nothing happened.
Good work, guys!

Thanks for the report! You're probably the only person to play through without a crash:-)

I hate to say anything, but it crashed at random locations. I didn't have any debugging information, so I didn't report these. I quick-save roughly every ten seconds anyway from habit, so I never lost anything important.

Just to add my name to the list... I just (like 3 minutes ago) finished the Serpent Isle also. Everything went nice and smoothly - except the ending animation didn't have any voice. I'm pretty sure that the serpents and Dupre say something, and the Gaurdian also speaks as his "big ugly hand of death"(tm) grabs you from the void.
No big drama though... I'm just happy to be able to play both classics through to the end again.
Oh, one more thing... isn't boyden supposed to explode when he comes into contact with fire? I think it happened in the original, but it doesn't happen with exult. Makes Boydy a much better character though..
Thanks!
MM

Yeah, the missing speech is a known issue as written in the FAQ:

About Boyden, I don't know...

Boydon didn't explode when he came into contact with fire, he just exploded when he died, regardless of cause.
And, of course, if he died, that was it for boydon being in your party, unless you want to carry around a head :/

I carried the head around after he exploded. I felt sorry for him, being that I put him back in that position, hehe. He has an interesting comment to make here and there.
