Exult Forum

Hi guys,

I am very excited about playing Exult on mobile handsets like PSP, Nokia, Zaurus & Co. Is there any overview about the latest different platforms which are compatible to exult? Perhaps with the latest versions? Besides the Zaurus project I couldn't find any information about it in the documentation. (I saw the PSP thread)

P.S. I will sell my Sharp Zaurus SL-5500G. What platform for using Exult would you recommend instead? (For German readers: I sell my Zaurus on EBAY, just search for "Sharp Zaurus SL-5500G - Tolles Komplettset!" on ebay.de and you will find the auction if you are interested).

I can't speak for the other arch, but the Zaurus port is suffering from the lack of an updated SDL as well as the requirement for gcc-3 or gcc-4 (only supports gcc-2.95.x). As a result, it is very unlikely that you would get Exult 1.4 (when it's ready) on the Zaurus.

I had tried to port the newest gcc, but it's a huge pain and now I won't be able to work soon on it since my wife is finishing the download on our first son tomorrow!

If you try the ExultPSP port make sure you are using a 2000+. The 1000 version supports BG only and tends to run out of memory from time to time.

I have searched for "pandora" in the forums, but nothing found. What do you think, would exult run on the pandora linux handheld?
