I know that this was previously mentioned,
but every time I enter Shamino's throne room
the game crashes.
Anyway around this?

did you try the latest snapshot? And if, can you provide us with a bug report and savegame?
Unfortunately all the crashes there were related to corrupted savegames and we haven´t been abe to pinpoint the source
