OK i used to use aol *growls* to do my newsgroup thang. Now i have broadband *big smile* and uninstalled aol and now i dont know how to do the newsgroup thang, the only reason why i would want it is for the udic so it _is_ ultima related

Well, assuming your OS is windows, I suggest downloading a standalone newsreader like one of these rather then using a newsreader built into your browser (if there is one):

http://xnews.3dnews.net/

Then you need to hunt down your isp's newsserver. Usually it's called news.ispname.com or whatever. They'll usually be a FAQ telling you this. Then you add the newsserver to your newsreader. Then just subscribe. *grin*
