Exult Forum

I cannot get any sound (midi, wave, etc). I am using exult .96beta1 and U7 from the collection cd. I built exult sucessfully, copied the ULTIMA7 directory from the cd, moves the exult file to the ULTIMA7 dir. I downloaded the jmsfx zip file and unziped it to the ULTIMA7 dir and /usr/local/share/exult. i have checked the .exult.cfg file to make sure the paths are correct. when exult starts up, it displays the speaker icon with a red cross over it. any sugesstions.

If there's a red cross through the speaker, that means that the path to the jmsfx.flx (or whatever it's called) is wrong.
