Sleeping Bull Inn Crash

Running windows 7 GOG version of U7: Serpents Isle through exult. Every time I approach the sleeping bull inn the game crashes: "Exult Ultima VII engine has stopped working." I've tried approaching from different angles, but the result is the same. A few seconds after entering the compound the game will crash.

I've tried running exult for compatibility for XP service pack 3, and running as an admin; neither of which helped. And googling doesn't seem to give any results similar to my problem.

Does anyone have any idea whats happening and how to fix it?

Are you running the latest snapshot of Exult?

I think I have noticed it myself as well, but I thought it was because I had messed with schedules and shapes of many npcs. Try going there in the evening, that worked for me. I'll investigate in the meantime what is happening there...

Yeah, thanks for reporting this. I traced this crash back to a certain revision that is also causing other problems.

Yeah I was using the latest snapshot. Interestingly enough I was able to get around it by training in Monitor before returning. I'm not sure if it was something in the scripts specific to training, or if it was just that time away allowed it to fix something?

I think it was also tied to dying and being returned to the continent. I haven't had any crashes there since returning from Moonshade and I haven't died since then either.

The problem is the parrot ale being on patrol schedule between 9-12. he has no patrol eggs and that change in the code initiates a loop till it crashes...
