Possible game breaking bug in SI.

Hey, I encountered a bug in SI, it's causing quite a bit of grief. If anybody wants to have a look at it, it would really help me out. I could include the text from my exult.cfg also, but as far as I know I haven't edited it with anything experimental.

Yes, I'm certain.

Apologies for my slow response, it's actually for my brother and unfortunately he's a bit new to PC gaming and doesn't get the baggage that comes with it.

I appeased him by installing Ultima V Lazarus though! Haha!

hmm, I can only reproduce this bug with your savegame. With a new game started in plain SI or with SI fixes this doesn't happen.
Have you done anything else that might have broken it? (interrupted torunament?)
Or do you have a savegame, right after the banes got free?

Well, I asked my brother, and he has used hack mover now and then (when large bodies were obstructing his path) and he only fiddled with the NPC flags when he was trying to stop this from happening, the flag in particular was the tourna flag (on both the NPC Shazzana and the Avatar).

It's a bit of a mystery TBH. In my game this didn't happen, so I'll query him further on it. He does have an earlier save when the issue first appeared, (Named "Possible Break?") it's about 5 hours into the game, if you want that save, just ask.

Also, if it helps, I can post the text from my config.

I should also mention, I'm using the SI Fixes before they required the 1.5 builds. The exult build I'm using is indeed a 1.5 build.

After asking him, he also activated the flag to translate the runes. The flag is called "read".

So, I guess he broke the game :)
Not sure what else he broke through setting some flags BUT to get out of this jam, do this:
hit F2 (cheat screen) -> F -> 131 -> U(nset flag) -> x -> x (to exit the cheat screen).
I'm going to *flag* this bug as invalid as it was caused by playing with the cheat screen...
I hope he hasn't broken more in the game...
